Rêveuse Recipe: Smoothie Bowl


Happy Wednesday everyone! We are somehow halfway through the week already, not that we are complaining, and the hot summer days have pretty much arrived in London. It's time to whip out the fans, ice cube trays and summer shoe collection. In today's post, we wanted to share with you our summer smoothie bowl recipe, which is a great way to cool down when the heat gets a bit out of hand, and it's an equally yummy alternative to an unhealthy snack. It takes no time at all to make this smoothie bowl and you can use up all the fruit that are starting to look a bit sad and withered. In a blender, blitz the frozen berries, bananas, chia seeds and water until a smooth consistency. You can substitute the water for almond milk or any other type of liquid to make it more creamy. Serve it in a bowl and place whatever toppings you have on top of the smoothie bowl. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
1 cup frozen berries

2 frozen bananas
chia seeds
half cup water

For the toppings
variety of berries
passionfruit 
pistachios
chocolate chips
granola
mangos
bananas

SERVES: Approx 2 bowls
DURATION: 15 mins
