Rêveuse Style: A Great Initiative To Give Your Clothes A New Life.

Happy Friday! We took these photos two years ago during fashion week, which reminded us on the importance of investing and choosing pieces that are timeless and can be worn in many years to come. Part of our wardrobe also consists of our mothers pieces, which she has passed down to us, as well as great vintage/ charity shop finds such as this golden silk blouse Liz is wearing here.

Most recently, we have been browsing the instagram pages more so than ever, and we came across the THRIFT page in collaboration with FarFetch. At first we were sceptical, but after doing a bit more research we realised this great initiative that helps in reducing clothing, shoes, bags etc waste and giving the items a new life. What's even great about this company is that they also donate some of the proceeds that gets sold, to charity, which makes you feel good knowing that it's going towards a good cause. In addition, the process of sending the donated clothes is extremely efficient, as you can get it picked up from your home or sent to a collect+ store; whereas previously we would fill up plastic binbags and lug them to our nearest clothes bank (which isn't even that close!). We look forward to collecting our unwanted clothes and hope they find a new home they will be loved in. We recommend this site and is a great way if you're also decluttering during this time!
